Hundreds warm up with cocktails at "Stroll On Houston Street"

SAN ANTONIO – Colder temps did not keep crowds away from the San Antonio Cocktail Conference Saturday night.

"A Stroll on Houston Street" did not disappoint, cocktails and food was served all along the sidewalk on Houston Street.

It started at Chef John Besh's "Luke Restaurant" all the way down to "Bohanan's Prime Steaks and Seafood."

Tequila, whiskey, scotch and vodka were just some of the few liquors crafted into old fashions, margaritas and even hot chocolate.

The wide range of food featured oysters, gourmet hot dogs, pulled pork tacos and frito pie.

"A Stroll on Houston Street" is just one of many events a part of the fifth annual San Antonio Cocktail Conference.

Over the past several years the conference and Houston Street Charities donate all proceeds from the events to local children charities.

Over the past four year overs $355,000 has been donated.
