SAPD: Driver arrested on DWI charges

SAN ANTONIO – A rollover crash sent two people to the hospital San Antonio police said Tuesday.

The accident occurred just before 10 p.m. Monday in the 5300 block of New Sulphur Springs Road on the city's Southeast Side.

San Antonio police said the driver attempted to pass another car on the two lane road when he over-corrected, hitting a guard rail and then rolling over a landing on the side of a creek.

Both the driver and the passenger were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical but stable condition.

The driver was arrested on DWI charges.
