SAN ANTONIO – A man slammed his pick-up truck into the wall of an apartment Sunday morning, causing significant damage.
Police say the man crashed the truck into the side of a building in the 4900 block of Woodstone around 11:45 a.m.
They say the impact damaged the apartment with a woman inside, but she was not injured.
Officers on scene said the driver might have fallen asleep behind the wheel.
EMS transported the man to University Hospital.
Firefighters said the unit the driver hit had some pretty serious damage, and the complex is moving the woman to another apartment.
Another unit upstairs might also have damage, but fire crews could not examine it because no one was home.
