SAN ANTONIO – A teen fell from a 30-foot bridge late Saturday night as he and a group of friends played near the guardrail.

Police said the 17-year-old and his friends were on the bridge over Leon Creek in the 6800 block of Ingram Road around 11:45 p.m., when the teen lost his balance and fell off the bridge and into a creek.
The Fire Department deployed a technical rescue crew to bring the injured boy from the creek.
He was taken to University Hospital with head injuries and is expected to be OK.
