Man accused of forcing girl, 15, to work as prostitute

Henry Reyna, 38, charged with human trafficking

SAN ANTONIO – Henry Reyna, 38, is charged with trafficking of a child and sexual assault of a child related to a 15-year-old girl who allegedly had been forced to work as a prostitute.

San Antonio police said they found out about the girl after speaking with two women last Saturday at a local motel.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, a police officer first noticed two men leaving the motel carrying a duffel bag and acting nervously.

The officer then began watching activity at the motel and noticed the two women leaving one room and entering another.

The affidavit stated that he spoke with the women who told him that they were being forced to work as prostitutes by Reyna and others. They also told him about the 15-year-old victim, and directed the officer to a motel room and one other location where they could find evidence related to the case.

Police knocked on the door of the room and found Reyna inside. The affidavit stated that they later obtained a warrant to search the room as well as his car.

Reyna was arrested Monday and booked into the Bexar County jail.
