Funeral services for Rev. Buckner Fanning

SAN ANTONIO – Funeral services have been announced for renowned local pastor and inspirational leader Rev. Buckner Fanning.

Fanning passed away last week of complications following a debilitating stroke in August.

A public visitation will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North at 3401 Cherry Ridge Dr.

Two public memorial services will take place on Sunday: the first at 1 p.m. at The Fellowship of San Antonio at 23755 Canyon Golf Road, the second at 4 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church at 319 Mulberry.

A private interment will be held at Mission Burial Park North.
