SAN ANTONIO – A Domino's Pizza employee was mugged and had his car stolen when he tried to deliver a pizza on Wednesday, San Antonio police said.
The pizza was being delivered around 10:30 p.m. to the 40 block of Beacon Bay on the city's Northeast Side.
Police said when the delivery man arrived he was approached by two men before being attacked. The men stole an undisclosed amount of cash, as well as the delivery driver's car.
Police later found the vehicle, but the suspects had already taken off.
At this time it is not known if the suspects ordered the pizza, but it is known the residents at the delivery address told police they did not place the order for a pizza.
The suspects are described as two black men, one wearing a Chicago jacket and the other wearing a gray jacket.
The investigation is on going.
