Maserati ties man to alleged shooting of ex-wife's car

Surveillance video shows Michael Easter's car at shooting scene

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man's luxury Italian car wasn't fast enough to get him out of allegedly shooting up his ex-wife's car.

Michael Dewayne Easter, 36, is charged with criminal mischief after police said his Maserati was captured on camera at the scene of the shooting.

Police said Easter drove the sports car to his ex-wife's house in the middle of the night earlier this month.

He allegedly shot at his ex's car several times, as well as a truck that belongs to her boyfriend.

The woman told investigators that she and Easter has just had an argument about her moving.

She also said Easter has violent tendencies and had been threatening her before the shooting.
