SAN ANTONIO – The nation’s 42nd president made a campaign stop in the Alamo City on Monday.
Bill Clinton was in town to support his wife, Hillary Clinton’s, campaign to become the United States 45th president.
The former president was introduced by several well-known Democrats including: Leticia Van De Putte, U.S. Reps. Joaquin Castro and Lloyd Doggett.
Speaking before hundreds of people at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Clinton hit several central themes that the campaign has been reinforcing recently.
“I have watched her (Hillary) make everything she every touched and every person she ever met better, in and out of government,” Clinton said.
Though his voice was hoarse from campaigning, Bill Clinton spoke for about 30 minutes.
