SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for two men suspected in the beating death of a local man.
Benjamin Briones, 53, was found on June 26, 2011, at the corner of Fairmeadow and Prairie Hill. In a police report, officers said Briones' face was bleeding, both his eyes were swollen and his lip was busted.
The injuries to his head were so severe Briones had to be air lifted to University Hospital. He died of his injuries nearly two years later, on March 30, 2013.
The two men suspected in his death (pictured above) are believed to be between the ages of 17 and 21 years old, investigators said.
Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case. The number to call is 210-224-STOP (7867). Callers are not required to give their names.
