Armed man demands Rolex watches in robbery at North Star Mall

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are hoping the public can help identify a man caught on camera robbing a jewelry store in North Star Mall.

Police said the man went to Gurinskys Jewelers on Feb. 24 and passed a note to an employee demanding Rolex watches.

The man pulled a handgun and pointed it at an employee who approached him during the robbery.

The man left the mall in a newer model silver two-door Acura.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
