SAN ANTONIO – A 64-year-old man was hit and killed Thursday after he was struck by a car in west Bexar County.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, the man was standing in the roadway in the 20300 block of Babcock Road around 2 p.m., when a woman driving a sedan hit the victim.

The man had arrived to help his wife, who was involved in a crash.
While the man was being transported to a hospital, he died of a heart attack, officials said.
The woman who struck the pedestrian will be cited for failure to have insurance, officials said.
