SAN ANTONIO – A man is recovering at University Hospital after a portion of a duplex collapsed on him.
First responders were called to the area on Yuma Street, on the city’s Southwest Side, around 3 p.m. Sunday.
The KSAT crew on the scene were told the man, believed to be in his 50s, and several others were in the process of tearing down the structure. When they stopped to take a rest, a portion of it believed to weigh around 2,000 pounds collapsed on the man.
The condition of the man injured was not released.
