ISIS claimed that its fighters carried out deadly terrorist attacks Tuesday in Brussels.

So far, at least 34 people are reported dead and an additional 170 have been wounded according to Belgian media. Two bombings took place at Brussels Airport and another at the subway station. At least one of the two airport explosions was a suicide bombing. A blast happened outside the security checkpoints for ticketed passengers and near the airline check-in counters. The subway station blast happened in the Brussels district of Maelbeek, near the European Quarter, where much of the European Union is based.
