Homeless man stabbed; police looking for assailant


SAN ANTONIO – A homeless man in his 50s was taken to the hospital Thursday night after he was stabbed in his backside, police said.

The stabbing took place under Interstate 35 near North St. Mary's Street and Quincy.

Police said the victim was found with a severe cut on his backside but he refused medical attention at first.

Police and paramedics were finally able to convince the man he needed help.

He is expected to be OK.
