Boerne police looking for fake doctor

Katinca Hunter wanted on prescription fraud allegations

BOERNE, Texas – A Boerne woman is wanted by police for posing as a doctor.

According to a news release, a doctor from Chicago contacted the Boerne Police Department about a woman who used her physician credentials to write prescriptions.

An investigation revealed the woman was going by the name of Dr. Katinca Hunter from Hope of Life Alternative Treatment Center in Boerne. Police also said she used the name Catharina Lindeque Hunter who owned H2L Medical and Aesthetic Center LLC in Boerne.

A search under both names found neither listed in the Texas Medical Board or the Texas Physician Assistant Board, a city official said.

Police executed a search warrant Friday for both offices, a city official said.

Any patients who may have been seen by the woman is asked to call Detective Lisa Flores or Sgt. Mitch Scoggins of the Boerne Police Department at 830-249-8645.
