SAN ANTONIO – Three people had to be evacuated from their home due to an early morning fire, fire officials said Wednesday.
The fire was reported just before 3:30 a.m. in the 6400 block of North Flores Street, found not far from San Pedro Avenue and Blanco Road on the city's North Side.
Investigators said all three people were evacuated safely, and that most of the damage caused by the fire was in the back of the duplex.
Firefighters had to wait and let a rainstorm pass before continuing their work.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
The amount of damage is still undetermined.
