SCHERTZ, Texas – Police in Schertz are investigating after a newborn baby boy was found on home’s front porch Monday just after 4 p.m.
The homeowner told police she heard a knock on the front door and when she opened the door she found a baby wrapped in a towel.

The baby was taken a hospital emergency room and appeared to be in good health.
Child protective services has been contacted.
Police said there were no witnesses and a search of the area turned up no results.
