SAN ANTONIO – A man lost control of his pickup truck and drove into a house causing, $10,000 worth of damages early Sunday morning, said San Antonio police.
A woman and her caretaker were inside the home in the 300 block of Givens when the driver crashed around 4 a.m., said police.
According to police, the driver knocked on the door of the home and apologized to the homeowner. Then he ran away from the scene, leaving his truck.
Witnesses told police they recognized the man and believe he came from a nearby bar, police said.
Firefighters estimate the cost of damage to be around $10,000.
No one was hurt.
