Construction worker attacks fellow employee with putty knife, SAPD says

Men get into fight over work performance

SAN ANTONIO – A construction worker attacked a fellow employee with a putty knife Tuesday afternoon on the city's Northeast Side.

Police said the workers got into a dispute over work performance and they ended up getting into a fight.

One of the men cut the other man with a putty knife, police said. The victim was transported to Northeast Baptist Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident happened at a senior living center in the 3300 block of Oakwell Court.

One of the men will be charged with assault-bodily injury, police said.
