Three people wanted in liquor store robberies, thefts

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 reward

SAN ANTONIO – Three people are being sought by San Antonio police for a series of robberies and thefts at liquor stores over the past two months.

The latest incident was reported around 8:45 p.m. Saturday at a liquor store at 1530 Austin Highway.

Police said a man and a woman grabbed three bottles of liquor and walked out of the store without paying.

The store employee chased the pair, who got into a tan-colored van and escaped, police said.

The driver of the van pointed a handgun at the employee, police said.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
