VIA offers complimentary VIVA service this weekend

New routes connect riders to top local destinations


SAN ANTONIO – VIA Metropolitan Transit will offer complimentary VIVA service this weekend.

The new service, which debuted Monday, offers three separate routes.

VIVA Culture travels from Southtown to the McNay Museum of Art along South Broadway.

VIVA Missions serves the San Antonio Missions World Heritage Site, from the Alamo to Mission San Juan. Mission Espada will be added later once road construction in the area is complete.

VIVA Centro travels the city center, from Centro Plaza to Sunset Station.

VIVA runs seven days a week, with extended hours and frequent service. Standard bus fares apply.

VIA officials aid the best value for riders is a VIA day pass, which provides unlimited rides all day for $2.75.
