Man stabbed, robbed near parking garage downtown

Incident occurred just after 9 p.m. Tuesday

SAN ANTONIO – A man was stabbed in the leg during an overnight robbery, San Antonio police said Wednesday.

The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. Tuesday at the corner of South Presa Street near East Market downtown.

Police said the man was next to a parking garage when a man dressed in black approached him and demanded his wallet. That's when, police said, the man was stabbed in the leg.

The victim's puncture wound is in his left leg and he was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.

So far no arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
