SAN ANTONIO – A teenager riding a skateboard was hit by a vehicle late Saturday night on the city's North Side.
Police said the teen was crossing the access road of Loop 1604 East near Gold Canyon Road around 10:30 p.m., when she was hit.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition, police said.
The driver stopped to help and isn't expected to face charges, police said.
