Bexar authorities search for teen who removed ankle monitor

Dakota Esman on probation

SAN ANTONIO – Local authorities are on the lookout for a 16-year-old who was last seen about more than a week ago. 

Dakota Esman was last seen on June 6 at his home on Paradise Road on the Northeast Side near Gibbs Sprawl Road.

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office said Esman is currently on probation for evading arrest.

He was seen leaving through his bedroom window after removing his ankle monitor. 

Investigators also said Esman is associated with gang members and possibly hiding in the Glen or Converse ranch apartments area.
