Body found in far south Bexar County

Discovery made at Spanish Grant Road, Losoya Drive

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is investigating how a man's body ended up off of a dead-end road in south Bexar County.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Rosanne Hughes said a propane gas delivery driver was on his lunch break around 11:30 a.m. Friday, when he saw the body in an empty field off of Spanish Grant Road near Loop 1604. Google Maps identifies the exact location as Losoya Drive, a short, dead-end road at the end of Spanish Grant.

Sheriff's officials are investigating the death as a homicide.

Hughes said the man was clothed and investigators were looking into whether he was dumped or killed there. She said she wasn't able to say if he was shot.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the BCSO Tip Line at 210-335-TIPS (8477).
