Kids, 12 and 7, start police chase after taking grandmother's car for joyride

CONROE, Texas – What was once believed to be a case of a stolen car and a kidnapping turned out to be two young granddaughters taking their grandmother's car for a joy ride, according to police.

Police said when a Conroe Police Department officer spotted the car, the 12-year-old did not pull over, starting a chase with his 7-year-old in the vehicle.
