No foul play suspected in inmate's death, BCSO says

SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of an inmate whose body was found Wednesday morning in the Bexar County jail.

BCSO officials said the man had a history of health problems and died of natural causes.

The medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine his exact cause of death.

The inmate was booked into the jail on June 9 for a parole violation and possession of a controlled substance.

His identity will be released after his family has been notified, according to a news release from the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.
