Texas restaurant chain Bill Miller BBQ is offering a free meal to all law enforcement officers on Friday in response to Thursday’s deadly shootings in Dallas.
Many politicians and celebrities have taken to social media to show support in the aftermath of the shootings, which left five officers dead and seven wounded.
Bill Miller’s photo, posted to Twitter and Facebook, says free meals will be offered to all law enforcement personnel (in uniform or with proper ID) on Friday, dine in only, at all locations.
The Facebook post has more than 4,000 shares.
The shooting in Dallas is the deadliest incident for law enforcement in the U.S. since 9/11.
“We stand united with the people and the police department in Dallas,” President Obama said.
