CLEVELAND, Ohio – Donald Trump Jr. announced the New York delegation's roll-call vote putting his father, Donald Trump, over the top of the 1,237 delegates needed to become the Republican presidential nominee on Tuesday.
"It's my honor to be able to throw Donald Trump over the top in the delegate count tonight with 89 delegates," Donald Jr. said on the convention floor surrounded by three of Trump's other children -- Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany. "Congratulations Dad, we love you!"

"I know that when someone tells him that something is impossible, that's what triggers him into action," Donald Jr. said of his father. "I've seen it time and time again. That look in his eyes, when someone tells him it can't be done...For my father, impossible is just the starting point."
"My dad in a natural born encourager, the last person to tell you to lower your sights or give up your dreams," Tiffany said.
Chris Cristie blasts Hillary Clinton
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie blasted Hillary Clinton during his speech. "Is she guilty or not guilty?" Christie asked each time as he ticked off a laundry list of charges against Clinton. The crowd at Quicken Loans Arena routinely answered, "Guilty!" and broke into chants of, "Lock her up!"

Donald Trump appeared on the videoboard with a message, "This is a movement, but we have to go all the way. I am so proud to be your nominee for president. What we did, getting the party's nomination, I will never forget."
Day three schedule
Day three is themed "Make America First Again," the day's speakers will make the case the United State's leadership role in the world has slipped under Obama and can be restored by Trump.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will speak Wednesday night as will Eric Trump, another on Donald's sons. Other speakers include conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, Texas Senator Ted Cruz and many others.
The night's headliner will be a speech from GOP vice presidential candidate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence.
