Deputies arrest 2 after short motorcycle chase

BCSO: Pair had outstanding warrants

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – Bexar County deputies have arrested two people after an overnight motorcycle chase, officials said Friday.

The incident began around 11 p.m. Thursday just south of downtown.

Deputies attempted to stop a motorcyclist in the 1100 block of Mission Road. That's when, police said, a woman first got off the bike before the driver sped off down a one-way street attempting to flee.

The rider was arrested after he eventually lost control and crashed, deputies said.

The motorcyclist has been charged with evading arrest.

Both the man and the woman he dropped off were wanted for outstanding warrants, deputies said.

The investigation is ongoing.
