West Side fire destroys 3 apartment units

Blaze causes $75,000 in damage

SAN ANTONIO – A fire on the city’s West Side destroyed three apartment units. It happened in the 300 block of Sylvia near South General McMullen.

Officials said the fire started in an unoccupied unit and spread to two other units. The blaze also damaged the siding of a house next door.

The fire caused $75,000 worth of damage to the units. The Red Cross will help those who were displaced

The cause of the fire is still unclear.
