SAN ANTONIO – The home of an elderly couple was damaged by a fire overnight, San Antonio firefighters said Wednesday.
The fire was reported at just after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Jewell Avenue and Cupples Road.
The fire caused minimal damage to the home, but smoke was an issue, officials at the scene said.
The couple did manage to make it out of the home safely.
Arson was called to investigate.
