LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized 13 pounds of methamphetamine last week at a Laredo port of entry.
The seizure was made Thursday at the Colombia-Solidarity Bridge, where a CBP officer referred a tractor-trailer driven by a 53-year-old male Mexican national for an intensive inspection, officials said. The inspection revealed two bundles of crystal methamphetamine valued at $103,020, authorities said.
