Police searching for dozens involved in 7-Eleven robbery

Authorities said minors looted store, assaulted clerk


SAN ANTONIO – Police are investigating after a convenience store robbery involving dozens of young people who looted the business after fighting outside. 

The robbery happened about 3 a.m. Saturday at a 7-Eleven in the 900 block of Hildebrand.

Police said about 30 cars filled with minors drove into the gas station's parking lot.  They began fighting and then they ran inside.

Police said they looted the store and assaulted one of the clerks. The clerk was checked by emergency medical services at the scene.

The minors got away, but police are checking security footage for clues.
