SAN ANTONIO – National Night Out, a yearly event aimed at building relationships between law enforcement and citizens to help prevent crime, is set to be held Tuesday.
The San Antonio Police Department and other departments across South Texas are participating in the event.
Last year, more than 700 organizations took part in the event, placing San Antonio in second place nationwide.Â
Overall, Texas came in first place as the state with the most participants.
