Man critically injured in drive-by shooting

SAN ANTONIO – A man is in the hospital in critical condition after being shot several times during a drive-by overnight, San Antonio police said Thursday.

The shooting was reported just after 9 p.m. on Marshall Street, found off Interstate 10.

Police said neighbors told them that the victim was visiting friends nearby and was walking in the area. That's when, police said, the suspect drove by and opened fire.

The victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

Police at this time have yet to release a description of the shooter or the vehicle.

So far no arrests have been made but the investigation is ongoing.
