Man in critical condition after being shot multiple times north of downtown

Police looking for shooter

SAN ANTONIO – A man in his 40s is in critical condition after he was shot just north of downtown in the 700 block of Marshall Street Tuesday night.

Police said the man was shot multiple times while in the street. Neighbors said the victim was visiting friends in the area and had walked there. The shooter, who police are still seeking, was in a car.

When neighbors heard multiple gunshot wounds, they called police. The victim was unresponsive when emergency medical services personnel arrived and he was rushed to University Hospital.

Police didn’t get a good description of the shooter, but they said the individual took off north to the access road.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact police.
