SAN ANTONIO – A fast -moving fire destroyed two houses Sunday, and county fire officials say the cause looks suspicious.
The flames torched the homes in the 7100 block of Cork Drive in Northeast Bexar County around noon Sunday.
The owner of one of the homes says he was a church when he got word his house was in flames.
Firefighters from several surrounding communities responded to the fire call, but had difficulty maneuvering through narrow streets to reach the houses.
The flames totaled both houses, and the fire marshal says damages are around $100,000.
