Young survivors of cancer attend 2016 Halloween 'Boo Bash'

Games and dancing took place Saturday

SAN ANTONIO – A Halloween bash took place on Saturday for the youngest of cancer survivors.

The American Cancer Society and other local sponsors hosted the "2016 Halloween Boo Bash" at the Tri-point Event Center, an event which allows children to put on their costumes and enjoy some fun dancing and games.

Guests in attendance also enjoyed trick or treating as well.

"We've had this party for over 20 years and its so nice to see these kids from a hospital setting in just a party mode and just be regular kids having fun with their brothers and sisters," Delores Hagen, RN said.

The American Cancer Society holds the event each year to celebrate and honor the young cancer survivors.
