Man wounded in shooting on Northwest Side

Shooting happened in 2000 block of Bandera Road


SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for the man responsible for a shooting on the Northwest Side that sent another man to the hospital.

Police officers went to an apartment in the 2000 block of Bandera Road, just before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities said two men were arguing in front of the victim’s apartment when one of them pulled a pistol and shot the other in the leg.

The suspect fled and the victim was taken to the hospital. Officers hope the victim can tell them who pulled the trigger. 

Officers said they don’t believe the victim’s injuries are life-threatening.
