SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County sheriff's deputies arrested two men following a chase early Sunday morning on the county's northeast side.

According to deputies, the driver of a car was swerving on the road near Farm Road 78 and Woodlake Parkway when deputies attempted to stop him.

The driver sped off, leading deputies on a chase down Binz-Engleman into the Sunrise subdivision. Deputies said the driver eventually bailed out when he arrived at a dead-end street.

When the car came to a halt at Gallery Sun and Glacier Sun, four suspects fled the scene on foot.

The Department of Public Safety helicopter was called in to assist in the search for suspects. Deputies said one man was caught and another surrendered to deputies.

According to deputies, the vehicle was reported stolen and they found at least one loaded gun inside.

Both suspects in custody are charged with theft and at least one is charged with evading arrest.
