Police ask for help in identifying man involved in bank robbery

Man robbed IBC Bank on Callaghan Road on Friday

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department Robbery Task Force is asking for the public's help in identifying a man wanted in a bank robbery.

According to a news release, the man walked into the IBC bank at 6630 Callaghan Road around 4 p.m. Friday and handed the clerk a note demanding money. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described to be in his 20s or 30s with a medium build.

Anyone with information on the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP (7867).

A reward of up to $5,000 is available for information leading to the man's arrest.
