SAN ANTONIO – A woman is recovering in the hospital Wednesday morning following a shooting overnight, San Antonio police said.
The shooting occurred just before 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 4600 block of Wycliff Drive, found on the city's East Side.
Police said the woman was giving a co-worker a car ride home. When she dropped her co-worker off, two cars appeared. That's when, police said, someone inside one of those cars shot at her, hitting her in the wrist and thigh.
The woman was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in stable condition.
The co-worker was not hurt in the shooting.
So far no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
