Store clerk calls 911 after man shot in arm appears

Shooting occurred around 4 a.m. on N. New Braunfels and Nolan St

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said a 20-year-old was taken to an area hospital after being shot in the forearm overnight and then asking for help from a store clerk.

The shooting occurred around 4 a.m. Wednesday on North New Braunfels and Nolan Street found on the city's East Side.

Police said the driver of the man shot dropped the victim off at a Texaco gas station located on North New Braunfels and Interstate 35.

The clerk of the store said the victim just appeared at his window asking for help while holding his wound and that's when he called 9-1-1.

Police said the victim was being very uncooperative before he was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center as he was unwilling to give a description of his shooter.

Authorities searched the crime scene, but have yet to find much.

The investigation is ongoing.
