SAN ANTONIO – Catholic universities across the country banded together in solidarity with undocumented students as so-called sanctuary schools.

The Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities released a list of school presidents who pledged to allow students who are part of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program to continue their studies.

The University of Incarnate Word is the only Catholic university in San Antonio not to sign the statement of support. Our Lady of the Lake and St. Mary’s universities pledged their support with nearly 100 other university presidents.

KSAT reached out to UIW for comment and have not heard back.
