Names of 4 people killed in Hill Country crash released

Victims range in age from 15 to 61

SAN ANTONIO – The four people killed in a three-car wreck in the Texas Hill Country Saturday have been identified.

Texas Department of Public Safety officials said Destiny Conatser, 17, Evan Langbein, 15, Keith Hoover, 59, and Don Corley, 61, were killed just before in Fredericksburg on Highway 290 near FM 1376.

Conatser was from Round Rock, Langbein was from Fredericksburg and Corley and Hoover were from Azel, according to DPS.

Four other people were injured.

DPS said one vehicle was traveling westbound when it veered into the eastbound lane and was struck by another vehicle.

Survivors were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio, St. David’s Hospital South Austin and Hill Country Memorial in Fredericksburg.

There was no update on their conditions.

The accident shut down Highway 290 for several hours.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Investigators said weather could have been a factor.
