District 1 Councilman Roberto C. Trevino announces bid for re-election

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio City Councilman Roberto Trevino on Wednesday announced his bid for re-election for District 1.

Trevino made the announcement on the second anniversary of his City Council appointment to a room full of friends and supporters at Mi Tierra Restaurant.

During the gathering, Trevino said he looks forward to pursuing innovative solutions to problems facing the city, ensuring equality, promoting arts and culture and working on neighborhoods as San Antonio continues to develop its urban core.

“I appreciate and enjoy the work I do for the people of District 1, and I am honored to serve them as their councilmember and I will continue to work hard to serve my community,” Trevino said.

In attendance was former District 1 Councilmembers Roger Perez, Roger Flores and Mary Alice Cisneros, Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff, former Texas Secretary of State Hope Andrade and a large group of business leaders.
