Arrest made in 'dirty looks' drive-by shooting

Adam Morales, 22, charged with murder in November slaying

SAN ANTONIO – A 22-year-old man was arrested Thursday night on a murder charge in connection with the drive-by shooting death of a 19-year-old man.

The suspect was identified as Adam Morales.

San Antonio police officers on Nov. 14 found Henry Lozano mortally wounded and lying in the 4900 block of Fortuna Street.

Chief William McManus said the shooting began with the two men exchanging "dirty looks."

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Morales and Lozano met at a gas station, where Morales told Lozano that he was a gang member and asked for Lozano's gang affiliation.

A witness told investigators that Lozano (pictured below) left after promising to fight Morales at another location.

The affidavit said Morales drove to Fortuna Street and shot Lozano near his home. Lozano died at a hospital.

Records show that police obtained a warrant for Morales' arrest about a week after the shooting.

He was taken into custody Thursday night.
