SAN ANTONIO – A man is in critical condition after crashing his car into a tree early Christmas Day.
The crash happened about 2 a.m. Sunday on the city’s East Side.

The driver was northbound on Foster Road, near Cal Turner Drive, when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree.
The San Antonio Fire Department had to cut the man out his vehicle. He was airlifted to University Hospital.
The crash is still under investigation.
